Artist Statement
Being a visual storyteller is my life.
As a marketing executive, I’ve spent over 30 years crafting compelling stories through the marriage of strong visuals and words to inform, entertain and inspire people. I hold a Masters in interactive communications and a B.S. in communications arts.
As a long-time creative artist, my photography reflects this experience to connect with people through my images to celebrate the rich details, lush shapes, and vivid colors in the world around us.
Skilled as a working photographer, I have spent serious decades attending workshops, classes, conferences offered by professionals to enhance my skills, including the New England School of Photography.
My recent work was on exhibit at the Small Stones Art Festival in Grafton, MA where it was awarded a Judge’s Choice. My work has been selected for the past three years at this juried exhibition. My images have shown in juried shows at the Cape Cod Art Center, Ocean State International Exhibition, Shoreline Arts Alliance Images 2021. My work has been displayed in several shows at the Spectrum Art Gallery in Essex, CT. I have been being published in the Photographic Society of America Travel Magazine, Connecticut and Maryland newspapers, and trade publications.
Whether shooting landscapes, wildlife, architecture, flowers, or people, my goal is to capture a moment in time and place to produce a unique expression of art that will become your personal treasure. You can choose an image from my portfolio or request a special shoot to create your own masterpiece. I offer custom prints and framing to fit your particular environment and decorating scheme.
As a visual artist, it is my goal that your sharing of captivating images with family, friends and clients makes you as happy as it does me.
