Named “Person of Note” by New Haven Register
What a thrill it was when a friend called to congratulate me for being named as one of the “area people of note” in a recent issue of the New Haven Register. I was recognized for winning the Judge’s Award for my image, “Looking Back”, in the 2020 TOPS in Connecticut Photo Competition by the Connecticut Association of Photographers (CAP).
The New Haven Register is a daily newspaper owned by Hearst Communications covering 2 Connecticut counties and 19 cities and towns. It has a long and rich history as it was established in 1812 and is one of the oldest continuously published newspapers in the United States. The paper also has the state’s second largest weekday circulation following the Hartford Courant.
