“Where Did the Years Go?” chosen for prestigious “Images 2021” Exhibition

Images” is Connecticut’s oldest juried photography competition and exhibition. In this year’s 40th annual event, the judges selected 132 works from a submission pool of nearly 1,000 photographs. I’m proud that my image, “Where Did the Years Go?” was part of the 13% acceptance rate as there are so many talented visual artists who compete for this honor.

Jurors for this event are well respected and award-winning artists in their own right. They were an internationally acclaimed photographer and Nikon Ambassador Kristi Odom, international consultant and photography curator J. Sybylla Smith and acclaimed N.Y photographer Johnnie Chatman.

This exhibition is sponsored by the Shoreline Arts Alliance, who for over 40 years, has enriched Connecticut’s cultural landscape through their programs, arts advocacy, and mission “to transform lives through the arts”. They serve thousands of performing and creative artists annually, from aspiring students to professionals, through a variety of arts programs and awards. They are located in Guilford, Connecticut.

Images 2021 is usually a print exhibition, but due to covid it will be held virtually. Enjoy the wonderful images by some great photographers!
