Grafton, MA, November 9, 2019 — I’m standing in front of my photo entry, The Miracle of Resurrection Bay. What you can’t see is the over 160 photographers and artists who gathered last evening, Friday, November 8, 2019, for a VIP Artists’ Reception for the Small Stones Festival of the Arts in Grafton, MA.
It was held at the Apple Tree Arts space in the former Town Hall on the Grafton Commons. It is a beautiful historical building that has been renovated and repurposed for many small businesses and the arts. Apple Tree Arts has the top floor with a magnificent auditorium with vaulted ceilings, natural wood beams, skylights and painted windows. What a wonderful backdrop for an art show!
This was a juried exhibition where professional photographers were the judges, so it was a real honor to be asked to join the show.
The Festival runs all week and includes musical and dance performances. The photo and art exhibit is Saturday, Nov. 9 (10 am – 7 pm) thru Sunday, Nov. 10 (11am – 4pm) @ Apple Tree Arts, 1 Grafton Common (2 Worcester Street), Grafton, MA.
